Why did you join Leonardo?

Leonardo enabled me to stay within the world of Electronic Warfare (EW) after leaving the services, and be constantly surrounded by highly trained engineers. The company gives me support to expand my personal skill set with headroom to progress my career in the direction I wish. Work-life balance is also a priority within the company and has helped immensely when starting a family.

What does your job entail?

Day-to-day duties entail the building and validation of Mission Dependent Data for any customer that requires it. This is currently for Typhoon but we can produce for other platforms such as Tornado and Apache or Leonardo’s EW systems, Seer and Sage.

What do you like most about your job?

The best part of the job is being surrounded by world class engineers who care about the products that they produce. Having access to such a wealth of information and experiences means that the highlight of the job for me are the people I work with.

Why would you recommend someone works for Leonardo?

Feeling valued at work is by far the most important reason I would recommend working at Leonardo. Coming from a military background means I appreciate having a voice that’s listened to and acted upon. Adding this to the opportunity to progress both my career and family life, working at Leonardo comes very highly recommended from me.
