UK Government Frameworks
Frameworks have been established by the UK Government and other organisations, such as Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl), as procurement channels through which any government, public sector or third sector organisation can buy goods and services.
Through several frameworks, the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) performs a vital role in helping protect frontline services by delivering significant and sustainable cost savings through its commercial activities and aggregated procurement arrangements.
As a CCS supplier, Leonardo is one of many companies that collectively offer end-users nearly 20,000 services via the Digital Marketplace platform. The frameworks through which Leonardo is qualified include:
Leonardo is also qualified through several Dstl and other commercial frameworks. These are designed to help suppliers bid for defence contracts, and for UK Ministry of Defence buyers to procure everything from military technology and infrastructure to education services and facilities management expertise. These include:
- Framework Agreement for Technical Support (FATS5) (MOD)
- Research Cloud (R-Cloud) (Dstl)
- Electronic Warfare & Cyber Framework (EW&C) (Dstl)
